Dr. Anik Popat graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and received his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry (D.M.D) from University of Manitoba. Soon after graduating, Dr. Anik joined his mother, Dr. Neeta Popat at her dental clinic turning Burnaby Dental Centre into a family-owned and operated dental practice.

Dr. Anik is known for his warm and caring nature that allows patients to feel at ease. Dr. Anik’s attention to detail when it comes to patient care is second to none. He firmly believes every patient requires and deserves an individualized treatment plan that is specific to their needs, as everyone’s health needs are very unique.

Guided by Burnaby Dental Centre’s core guiding values and principles, Dr. Anik is committed to furthering his knowledge in all aspects of dentistry to better care and serve his patients. Dr. Anik takes extensive continuing education courses in a variety of fields including endodontics, implantology, prosthodontics and is a member of several study clubs.

When not at work, I can be found spending time with his wife, family and friends. I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball, hiking and anything involving food.
